I eventually bought an SSD just to run BBCSO and though the load times dramatically decreased (down to 3 minutes) swapping microphones positions still saw enough of a buffering time that it started to feel sluggish. I do take issue with that especially because of how well Kontakt libraries run on Hard Drives (I run all of Ark on a Hard Drive with no issue). That time saw some improvement on 1.2 but absolutely unusable on Hard Drive. The projects would open fast, but instruments would buffer for 30 minutes. They have links to very useful templates for every DAW and that template would take 30 minutes to be functional.
